
David Lafuente
David Lafuente is a Spanish-born comic book creator from Gijón. He has garnered widespread acclaim for his intense inks, dynamic storytelling, and unique style on books such as Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book, Superman, and Radiant Red.
David exploded onto the American comics scene in 2008, illustrating the Marvel Comics sleeper-hit miniseries Patsy Walker: Hellcat, written by Kathryn Immonen. He then relaunched Ultimate Comics Spider-Man with Brian Michael Bendis.
Recent books by David include Spider-Ham, Superman, Harley Quinn, the breakout bestselling Image Comics series Radiant Black, and the hot new Eisner-nominated series Radiant Red. Lafuente has also recently amazed with his alternative covers for other books, including the Eisner Award-winning series The Nice House on the Lake.
Occasionally credited under the pen name Darko Lafuente, David is well known by fans and artist peers alike for his flawless pencils and masterful inks, and is considered one of the most talented visual storytellers in today’s American comic book industry.
