Fran Galán
Aftershock, Skybound, Dark Horse, Boom! Studios, Marvel Comics… Since his debut in America in 2019 with the graphic novel Knights Temporal, the career of Spanish comic artist Fran Galán has continued to rise at a meteoric pace.
In just a few years, his bibliography includes iconic titles such as Carnage, Black Panther, or The Amazing Spider-Man, in addition to the acclaimed works The Roadie, Dune: House Harkonnen, and a short story for Image’s Creepshow, nominated for the 2023 Eisner Awards for Best Anthology.
After several years as an illustrator, Fran Galán began his journey as a comic artist in 2016, creating various covers and illustrations for Amigo Comics, by El Torres, and a one-shot about El Bosque de los Suicidas (The Forest of Suicides).
His journey in European comics also includes Goya, the Terrible Sublime, for which he received multiple nominations and awards for Best Work and Best Spanish Artist.
Among his latest works Pine & Merrimac has been praised by the critique for it’s amazing graphic work.
