Toni Fejzula
With his versatile technique and distinctive style, Barcelona-based artist Toni Fejzula has made a name for himself as one of the most charismatic creators in the comics industry.
His body of work includes standout titles like The Veil, Lobster Johnson, and Dead Inside (published by Dark Horse), as well as acclaimed projects like his graphic novel adaptation of the bestseller Patria and his recent success, The Forgotten Blade.
Fejzula earned a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, where he first started his career as an illustrator in advertising and film animation. He made his comic debut in 2000 with a short story in The Savage Sword of Conan, which opened the door to the French market. There, he worked on titles like Spirou Adventures: Anaconda, A Night of Rain, Central Zero, and his adaptation of Stendhal’s The Red and the Black, all published by leading houses such as Delcourt, Glénat, and Dargaud.
Beyond his international work, Fejzula has also had a prolific career in his native Serbia with Stripessing and in Spain, with major publishers like Diábolo, Norma, and Planeta, where he released the critically acclaimed Patria.
Currently, creates cover art for cult favorites like Something is Killing the Children, Phantom Road, and W0rldtr33, while working on various other projects for the U.S. market.
